Hoteliers look to the North Amazon region

The managing director of the Society of Hotels of Peru, Tibisay Monsalve, has revealed that there is interest from private sector investors in the tourism projects in the North Amazonian macro-region, home to sites of interest to those keen on beaches, arhcaeology, and culture. He said that, to this end, the State should invest in development of roads and airports, and support the provisional law to encourage hotel investment.

  1. Why do the hoteliers expect a poor country to construct roads and airports just for them? They can boat in hotel guests like everyone else and quit destroying the Amazon rainforest!

  2. This is very nice and informative post. I have bookmarked your site in order to find out your post in the future.
