Private sector criticises Chilean lack of creativity

That a Chilean company has copied the logo of Peruvian pisco producer Santiago Queirolo has warranted criticism from the private sector. The president of the ADEX (Expoters’ Association) Pisco Committee, Miguel Poblete, asked: “Where is the genius, the creativity? The Chileans show a lack by copying the logo of a Peruvian firm.” He described the action as a disloyal practice that predjudices our national drink. “Just imagine that in the USA someone orders a Queirolo pisco and is given a Chilean drink,” he said sadly.
