Cold snap leaves a region without food

HUANCAVELICA: The impact of the recent freezing conditions will be felt in the form of a scarcity of food over the coming eight months, said regional president Federico Salas. He explained that 85% of the farmers affected were engaged in subsistence agriculture, growing food mainly for their own families.
