Peru to send trade representatives to Algeria, Egypt, Israel

The Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) announced today that the Ministry of Exterior Relations is organizing a Peruvian commercial mission to Algeria, Egypt and Israel with the aim of cementing trade links.

The mission will be led by Exterior Relations Vice-Minister Gonzalo Gutiérrez, who hopes to make contact with leading commercial figures in all three countries.

He also aims to gather information to analyze the possibilities that these markets offer to Peru in the commercial field, to seek investment and to increase tourism to Peru. The mission will also gather crucial information on how other Latin American countries are building trade relations in the Middle East and Northern Africa.

The group will leave Peru at the end of May.
